Leonid Nezhdanov

Leonid Nezhdanov was a Russian tenor who sang the Boyar in Attendance at the 1928 Leningrad premiere of the original 1869 Boris Godunov. He was a soloist of the Leningrad State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet, and away from the opera house he appeared twice with the Philharmonic Orchestra in its great hall: in Stravinsky's Oedipus rex under Ernest Ansermet in 1929, and in a small part in a concert Fidelio under Alexander Zemlinsky in 1931.
