Synopsis
Carlo, elder son of Count Massimiliano Moor, has fallen in with a band of robbers and longs to go home to his cousin Amalia, who loves him. His younger brother Francesco, who wants the title and the estates for himself, intercepts Carlo's plea for their father's forgiveness and sends back a refusal.
