Synopsis
The Saxon knight Aroldo comes home from the Crusades to the castle of his father-in-law, Egberto. His wife Mina, tormented by remorse, betrayed him in his absence with the adventurer Godvino, and her father, discovering her guilt, presses her to hide it and keep her husband's love.
