Commento alla Divina Commedia d'Anonimo fiorentino del secolo XIV
also Commento dell'Anonimo Fiorentino alla Divina Commedia, Anonimo fiorentino
A commentary on Dante in Tuscan prose, written by an unidentified Florentine towards the end of the fourteenth century and not printed until 1866, when Pietro Fanfani edited it in Bologna. Dante names Gianni Schicchi's crime in a few lines and tells no story around it, which left Forzano too little to build an act on. The commentary tells the story, and he made extensive use of it.
