Marco Pauluzzo
An Italian bass who went to an art school before the conservatory, and has painted throughout his singing career, exhibiting in 2014. He won the AsLiCo competition in 1984 and in 1992 sang at the Festival of Two Worlds in Spoleto and Charleston. His roles include Zaccaria, Oroveso, Banquo, Ramfis, Raimondo and Colline, and he sang in Samson et Dalila at Macerata in 1995 with José Carreras and in Madama Butterfly at the Arena di Verona in 1997. He made the first recordings of Giordano's Il re and Masciangelo's La Sunamitide, and a three-disc collection of bass arias.
