Aristide Parasassi

Aristide Parasassi was an Italian singer attached to the Teatro Costanzi in Rome for a decade either side of 1900, where he created Il carceriere in the premiere of Puccini's Tosca in January 1900. The house archive records him in fourteen productions between 1898 and 1909, among them La traviata, Rigoletto, La Gioconda, La Juive, Les Huguenots, Lucrezia Borgia, Andrea Chénier and Tristan und Isolde.
