A French coloratura soprano who created Yvette in La rondine at Monte Carlo on 27 March 1917. From the Paris Conservatoire she went to the Opéra-Comique, making her debut on 28 May 1916 as Poussette in Manon, and sang Ellen in Lakmé, Frasquita in Carmen and a nun in the company's first Béatrice of Messager in 1917. That year she met Jean Decrais, later editor of the Journal des débats, and she gave up the stage when they married, teaching singing at home in Paris. Their daughter was the television journalist Éliane Victor.
