Felice Foglia
A bass in supporting parts, who created the customs sergeant in the first La bohème at the Teatro Regio in Turin on 1 February 1896. He had sung in the premiere of Franchetti's Cristoforo Colombo at Genoa in 1892, and was a regular at the Regio in the late 1890s. At La Fenice in Venice he was Dottor Graziano in one of the simultaneous premieres of Mascagni's Le maschere on 17 January 1901. He spent the 1905-06 season at the Metropolitan Opera, sang in Montevideo and Buenos Aires, and was the innkeeper in Falstaff at Bologna in 1923.
