A tenor, on the stage from 1872 to 1885, who created Roberto in the two-act Le villi at the Teatro Regio in Turin in December 1884. At La Fenice in Venice he sang the Duke of Mantua in 1876 and created roles in two premieres that year, Don Pedro in Bartolomeo Pisani's La gitana and Rodolfo in Francesco Schira's Lia. He was Faust in Mefistofele at Padua in 1880, Radamès at the Liceu in Barcelona in 1881, and Vasco da Gama and Ernani at the Teatro Regio in Parma in 1881-82, and sang Corentino in Dinorah at Turin in 1885.
