Fernand de Potter
A tenor who made his debut at the Opéra-Comique in Paris as Frédéric in Lakmé on 16 December 1906, and twelve days later created the imperial commissioner in the revised Madama Butterfly there. He went on to appear at the house in Alceste, Louise and La traviata, among others. By 1912 he was with the Boston Opera Company, singing in Laparra's La Habanera and in a concert of French opera at Harvard that February, and in March 1913 he sang Prince Charmant in Aubert's La forêt bleue at the Boston Opera House.
