Kitty Beale

soprano

A soprano who sang at the Metropolitan Opera for three seasons. She made her debut at the first Il trittico on 14 December 1918, creating one of the alms-collecting sisters in Suor Angelica, and in 1919 sang in the American premiere of Leroux's La reine Fiammette. She also appeared in the Met's Sunday night concerts, the last of them on 20 February 1921.
