Del-Bourree Bach
Del-Bourree Bach was set on both art and singing as a child by his grandfather, an artist and a vocalist in the U.S. Army Band, and studied fine art and voice side by side at college. He spent twenty-five years in New York carrying two careers at once, singing in opera and musical theatre while working as an illustrator, and in 1992 created Caonabo in Antonio Braga's 1492 epopea lirica d'America in Santo Domingo. The travel that performing demanded decided the matter in the end, and he turned to painting full time. He now works in Mystic, Connecticut.
